A Journey from Challenging Childhood to Successful Entrepreneur
My name is Peter Čuček, and I come from the picturesque city of Maribor in Slovenia. My life story is interwoven with challenges that have shaped me into the person I am today.
As a child, I faced one of the toughest trials - my parents' divorce. In those vulnerable years, I yearned for attention and support that often fell short. However, this experience didn't break me; instead, it strengthened me and instilled a determination to create something of my own one day.
Despite the obstacles, I successfully completed my education at the High School of Economics in Maribor. My thirst for knowledge led me further, to the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, also in my hometown. This period was crucial for my personal growth and acquiring skills that later became the foundation of my entrepreneurial success.
I started my professional journey at the Nova KBM d.d. (Now OTP Bank) in Maribor. This experience gave me insight into the world of finance, but I soon felt I wanted more. I decided to take a step into the unknown and moved to Austria, where I worked at Adria Bank AG in Vienna. This move was not just a career decision but also a personal challenge that opened new perspectives for me.
All this time, a desire to create something of my own was smoldering within me. I dreamed of pouring all my experiences, both good and bad, into something tangible and useful. Thus, the idea of Tuuli - my own brand - was born.
With Tuuli, I wanted to offer the world something special - the best wooden massagers and other natural wood products. I was guided by a deep concern for the environment, which became my primary mission. Immediately following was a dedication to customer satisfaction.
Today, as I lead Tuuli GmbH based in Austria, I look back on my journey with pride. More than 500,000 satisfied customers worldwide are confirmation that I've taken the right path. But this is not the end; it's just the beginning. I constantly strive for improvements and new ideas on how to use wood in innovative ways.
My life journey has taught me that it's precisely the difficult moments that shape us the most. The modesty, diligence, and organizational skills I've acquired over the years have become my compass in running the company.
Looking back, I see that every obstacle, every challenge was just a stepping stone to where I am today. And although I'm proud of my achievements, I know there are many new challenges and opportunities ahead of me.
